What did you all think?

Well, I must say that I am glad that I have my demo over with. I would really like to know what you thought? Did you think that this is on level with 11th grade? I really appreciated what the others said about using the ideas with the elementary book also. It makes me feel really good about what I'm doing as a teacher. Nerves shouldn't be a problem when you spend all your working days in front of 30 people, but they still do.

    I liked it - at first I wondered how I would transfer it to my classroom but by the time you got to the final project I could see that the format would work for many grade levels/subjects - Thanks!

    Nice job, Tonya. I like your activity and it is definitely one that would cause the students to be reflexive in their writing.

    Good job. I especially like the connection on Romantics (specifically Poe) with Scooby Doo. Do you have a particular episode that works well... or should I hit that stacks of quality S.D. episodes on Netflix?

    Almost any will work, but I will look into my archives and see if there is a 'best' one.

    There's another thread discussing Tonya's demo under "Tonya's lesson." We're going to need a system for keeping threads organized, or else we will miss parts of the conversation. Of course, at my age I always miss parts of conversations.
