Cion

Thank you Cher for thinking of the idea of magical fiction. That book is so hard to classify (I guess it doesn't need a label per se) but it does help me better understand a perspective the author is coming from.

  1. Way to put your finger on it, Cher.

  2. For the record. Cher was called "deep" today and also "right on" when she hit magical realism. I would like to add the word supercalifragilisticexpialidoshious (spelling anyone).

  3. I view this book as so symbolic of the quilt on the cover. (I may have that backward.) Look at the blanket and notice how it represents various designs.

I wonder if the entire plot or themes could also be seen in this quilt...

  4. Magical realism. Wow!!!! Now so much fits together. I kept wondering about the Blue Fly. Now it makes perfect sense. Thanks, Cher. You are great.
